Weavetop is a polyester-reinforced flexible vinyl available in the range of colours illustrated.
All featuring a white backing (red/white stripe available with red backing) to ensure that your choice will compliment any design requirements. Weavetop meets the 10 second flame application requirement for BS5438:1976 Test 2.

Markilux 911/915

Aesthetically pleasing to the eye with a compact graceful design.

Exhibits exceptionally small dimensions for a fully-cassetted awning, only 125mm in height, and perfectly suited for fitting into tight recesses, e.g. under soffits and ideal for bungalows

Markilux 911/915 Overview

All moving parts such as shoulder, elbow and knuckle joints are made from drop-forged aluminium - extreamly strong and with high elastic properties, which means that under extream duress they will not rupture like cast components, but will simply bend.

A compact, remarkaby low-priced awning, but still with the renowned quality of markilux.

The incredibly slim cassette of the 915 - only 125mm heigh - offers maximum protection to the cover mechanism.

Markilux 911/915 Detail

The arms are Teflon-coated bushes which provide all but maintenance-free arm performance. The arms have been tested for more than 18,000 usages. This is the equivalent of extending the awning once a day for 50 years. Arm manufacture includes the gluing and riveting of the profiles to the shoulder, elbow and knuckle joints, which is unique to markilux and ensures there is negligible chance of the arms pulling apart. Dining al fresco under cover in your garden.
Infinitely variable and precise pitch adjustment up to an angle of 35%
85mm galvanized roller tube gives increased stability and strength and helps eliminate deflection on wider units. Most manufacturers only use 78mm rollers which underlines the qualitative approach that is the philosophy of awning design at markilux.

As an early Christmas present our fully automated sewing machine was installed on 23rd and 24th December 2004. At an overall length of 15 metres is thought to be the longest and most up to date in the Trade.

The acrylic cutting and marking bench is no less than 6 metres long and 5 metres wide which accommodates most covers without having to fold to mark out.

Downstairs

The PVC cutting and marking bench is 7 metres in length with a width of 4 metres which allows us the luxury of marking out without folding.

Exhibition

Exhibition At the BBSA Exhibition March 2005 held in Telford we exhibited the Markilux 8000 system in support frame with side walls and clear windows. During the colder wetter months this forms an enclosed room and throughout the summer its simply an Awning which gives you the best of both worlds. Along with the 8000 system we also displayed the Markilux 915 fully cassetted system with end fix brackets which is remarkably easy to fit. Estoryl supported PVC was also a prominent feature displaying its comprehensive array of Colours and Patterns. Made up Estoryl covers where shown on both the 915 cassette and the Major Dutch Blind Canopies which put the finishing touch to the stand.
